Willis Loehr, Col., ret., U. S. Air Force
Col. Loehr was an Air Force pilot with 30 years of distinguished service. Among his experiences was a mid-air collision with a German plane that sheared the left wing off of his airplane.  He was forced to bail out at 300 mph with a damaged chute. 
“Now the canopy opens and the seat propels you clear of the plane.  Back then you had to climb over the side.  You just hoped you wouldn’t hit the plane. I hit the tail.”   
Happy VDAY! Here are my favorite shots from my "Lasting Love" Series of couples that have been married for over fifty years. I did this project last year for one of my clients: Belmont Village Senior Living. I traveled to their different communities and captured the love.


















I was messing around photographing used wine corks this weekend for my wine photography website. Wine corks are somewhat mundane looking or at least I thought they would be to photograph. Viewing the stained corks on black and only showing the stained wine end is somewhat interesting looking. I think blown up big as a print would look really beautiful...
